Our Mission Statement
We are faithful to the teachings of the Catholic church and open to all men and women. We work in cooperation with our bishop, priests and religious to effectively deepen our faith while winning souls for Christ by example, evangelization, and love for neighbor.
Why is a group like this needed?
- To address the tenets addressed by our Bishops in Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us and Sons and Daughters of the Light
- There is a hunger for the young adult ministry in Johnson County
- Many young adults have been wounded by the world and desire healing from Christ and his Church
- An ever present desire to learn more about their faith and the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Weekly bible studies
- Weekly hour of Adoration
- Monthly service opportunities
- Weekly young adult Mass
- Social events (Movies, Royals games)
- Vigil Praise (Adoration/talks/praise)
- Nature’s Call (Yearly 100+ campout)
